Much of Pictish history is understood through a religious context since we get much of our information from church documents, hagiographies, and even the cross-bearing Class II and Class III stones. However, while the religious context of those sources is acknowledged, generally religion will not be brought into the discussion on the other pages, except when it is particularly relevant to the topic being discussed. This page, on the other hand, will be devoted to discussions that are explicitly religious in nature. This may include indigenous Pictish religion, Celtic Christianity, Roman Christianity, and whatever thoughts I find relevant.
